Refund Policy

Overview

Byteroot LLC offers digital products and services. Because of the nature of digital goods (instant delivery, immediate access), our refund policy differs from physical product policies. Please read this carefully before purchasing.

Digital licenses (instant delivery)

License keys are delivered automatically and immediately upon successful payment. Due to this, all sales of digital license keys are final and non-refundable once the key has been delivered to your account.

Exceptions — we will issue a full refund for a digital license if:

  • The license key does not work and we are unable to resolve the issue within 72 hours of your report.
  • The product was materially misrepresented on our website.
  • A duplicate charge occurred due to a technical error.

To request a refund under an exception, email support@byterootllc.com within 7 days of purchase with your order ID and a description of the issue.

Custom development & services

For custom development projects (bots, APIs, full-stack apps, FiveM setups, dashboards):

  • Before work begins: full refund available if you cancel before we have started development (typically within 24 hours of payment).
  • During development: a partial refund proportional to work not yet completed may be issued at our discretion, minus any costs already incurred.
  • After delivery: no refund is available once the final deliverable has been delivered and accepted. We offer revision rounds (as specified per product) to ensure your satisfaction before final acceptance.

Subscriptions

Monthly subscriptions (e.g. Imber Bot, Priority Support) may be cancelled at any time via your dashboard. You will retain access until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused days in the current period.

If you were charged after cancellation due to a billing error, contact us within 7 days and we will refund the erroneous charge in full.

Chargebacks

If you file a chargeback with your bank or card issuer without first contacting us, we reserve the right to permanently suspend your account and revoke any associated licenses. We strongly encourage you to contact us first — disputes are resolved quickly and fairly.

How to request a refund

Email us at support@byterootllc.com with:

  • Your account email address
  • Order ID (found in your dashboard)
  • Reason for the refund request
  • Any relevant screenshots or details

We aim to respond to all refund requests within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed via Stripe and typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days.
